Flower pots are receptacles that hold seeds. It is a way to carry seeds without having them stolen or damaged from the land (of course, one can kill you and loot your flowerpot, but it's probably harder). They are crafted from a skull and a handful of dirt, or hardened clay and dirt. When the seedling fully grows, it becomes too hard to carry and becomes a tree.
